Wehrhalder Hof in Herrischried

Were guests for the autumn trip with the motorcycle club (approx. 20 people)! Very beautiful and secluded, in the middle of the forest, so to speak. There was plenty of food and beer, and everything was very tasty. Very good for the price. The innkeepers were very nice and accommodating. Network coverage and WiFi almost non-existent. But that's not so important to me. Had some reception on the terrace on the first floor with Vodafone. Enough for a message home ;-) I would love to come back!

Located in a beautiful location with a sensational view. The food was ok, but unfortunately it took too long. The service was very friendly.

At the moment the hotel is managed by the owner couple alone. So you shouldn't make any demands like you would with a three star hotel. The rooms are clean, if not up to date, although housekeeping does not take place every day. The kitchen is very good for that. We had half board and were given plenty of food. There is only one dish, but you can also express your wishes. If you look at the age of the operators, both around 80, that demands respect. In general, after these unfortunate times, one can be happy that there are still such offers.

We have stayed for a week. Very nice location. Good rooms and good bed. The owners are very sweet and helpful. The food is traditional, and very good. Despite their advanced age, the owners do everything they can to make their stay as pleasant as possible. Really recommended. Hopefully we can come back again.
